Our run club is open to all abilities. Because we run over short loops, it keeps the group together and the emphasis is always on having fun. So, it doesn’t matter if you’re a total beginner looking to get into running or an experienced athlete looking for a structured session.
Our friendly and inclusive run club could be the thing that helps you achieve the consistency required to reach your goals.

Monday evening’s popular run session is coached by Tanya (see coach profile below). Its appeal lies in the fact it is simply a lovely group of people out there having fun.
Tanya’s session runs on a subscription basis and there are currently only a few spots left available. So, if you are interested in joining we strongly recommend getting in touch with Tanya and arranging your free taster session.
Session start time: 6:30 or 6:45pm depending on the location of the run. All sessions start at the studio though.

Our lunchtime pay-as-you-play sessions are a new project driven by the desire to coax people out of their offices, get them moving and absorb a bit of sunlight!
Currently, we are running a session every Monday lunchtime. However, as the club grows, we hope to offer more sessions over the course of the week. So, join us on a Monday at midday or if you and/or your colleagues would like us to put on a session on another weekday, let us know!
Session start time: Monday @ midday (please arrive ready to train so we can ensure the session can be accommodated by people’s lunch-break)
Price: £5 per session
Payment is accepted at the door by card or cash; or as we can only accommodate a certain number of runners, we recommend you secure your spot by booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
IMPORTANT: Please complete an Athlete Questionnaire prior to attending. Sadly we cannot allow you to attend without a completed questionnaire.

Richard is a qualified British Triathlon Federation Coach, Certified Ironman Coach and Level 3 Personal Trainer.
Richard founded RIAK Fitness in 2017 and looks after a burgeoning squad of triathletes and cyclists (see our Triathlon & Endurance Sport Coaching page).
His focus is on helping clients to achieve balance in their lives and retain enjoyment for the sport while also reaching their goals. He sees training as more of a lifestyle than a sport and has experienced the benefits of a more balanced approach to juggling training and the rest of life’s demands in the last few years with two podium finishes at half-iron distance and the dissipation of over-training injuries/fatigue.
Richard advocates the incorporation of a well planned strength and conditioning programme, especially for those new to running and has noticed a big improvement in terms of posture and efficiency with his coaching clients since introducing an increased focus on this element of their training (see our Personal Training page).
