In these sessions we add in a bit of loading and look to challenge you. However, our key focus is still on building muscular balance and mobility, so expect lots of single limb exercises and moves that will challenge your balance and coordination as well as how many reps you can do or what you can lift.
Each session will require slightly different equipment but generally speaking, the following should get you through all our sessions.
– 2 sets of dumbbells (1 lighter pair for upper body work that you can lift above your head & 1 heavier pair for building leg strength)
– a miniband (we would recommend buying two or three bands of varying strengths so you can progress the exercises)
– a resistance band (we would recommend buying two or three bands of varying strengths so you can progress the exercises)
– a stool, bench or chair that is nice and steady
